Throughout 2011, the Slavkov - Austerlitz chateau honours an anniversary of the birth of Václav Antonín Kounic, the most significant representative of the Kounic family. We commemorate 300 years since his birth. The celebrations culminate in October with a specialised seminar on the personality of Václav Antonín Kounic, and with opening of an exhibition documenting the life and work of this remarkable man.
